Requested tags: Daena Targaryen, Elaena Targaryen
About the canon:
This is a really fun world to explore, with a lot of strong-willed personalities all trying to find what's best for themselves and for the people they care about (if any, tbh). With Targaryen women especially, their family history offers both the potential of power and the threat of punishment for reaching "too far", with a rare few being able to carve out actual happiness.
Prompts
- For both of these women, any sort of "canon but from their POV" would be great. They have a unique perspective on a time full of turmoil and it'd be fun to see their personalities, wants, and fears in the midst of that.
- For a brief time - while Baelor is in Dorne, before the official annulment - Daena was queen consort of Westeros. How did she use or not use power in this time period? How did she see Daenaera's example (was Daenaera even still alive by then?) If you want to go AU, could she have found a way to hang on to authority she had as consort even after Baelor's return?
- Daena disappears from the narrative soon after Daemon’s birth - what kind of life could she have had? Canon divergence is very welcome here! Maybe she takes a journey across Essos, or maybe she carves out a place (a new kingdom?) for herself and her son. (I’m not as interested in having her marry into the Starks, but I’d be interested to see her make a huge range of marriages for love and/or political gain, or her being extremely determined not to be married as well).
- What did Elaena do during the Blackfyre Rebellion? She would likely have already been de facto Master of Coin by then, and I'd be interested in both the political/bureaucratic aspects of her work during the Rebellion and the more personal issues of her family at war with itself.
- I'm really fascinated by what little we get about Elaena's relationship with Michael Manwoody. We know she loved him more for his skill with music than his swordsmanship - what was their courtship like? Did he ever take her to visit Dorne? He went to negotiate with Braavos, but all the deals were written in Elaena's handwriting - what was their time like in Braavos together?
- Honestly, just giving Daena and/or Elaena a dragon would be really fun. Unleash all of the chaos!
Requested tags: C-3PO & R2-D2, C-3PO/R2/D2, C-3PO & R2-D2 & Darth Vader
About the canon:
This is another of my oldest fandoms! I love all the risks that Our Heroes take to help/save the others (even when there seems to be a betrayal, they always come back and do whatever they can to make things right), and it makes for sound camaraderie that makes their adventures so fun to watch. The worldbuilding is a great genre-hodgepodge of sheer pulpy nonsense with room for both fun antics and genuinely touching moments.
I'm familiar with various aspects of both the Disney canon universe and the Legends universe, supplemented by spending way too much of my free time on Wookiepedia. Feel free to draw on whatever version of canon you want and to mix them together if it makes sense for what you're creating! Don't worry about what I might or might not have seen/read; I like going down wiki rabbit holes and I don't care about spoilers.
Prompts
- Generally, this is a canon where I'll enjoy a lot of tropey shenanigans. Artoo and Threepio have to carefully repair each other after a battle! Artoo and Threepio (and Vader?) are stranded in some inhospitable location and have to make their way back to safety! Artoo and Threepio get temporarily rewired and have to maintain their composure while bodyswapped! All sorts of things.
- Artoo and Threepio are always on the edge of whatever drama is happening among the main characters, and I'd love the opportunity to see them at center stage! Anything with their own POV on the events of the movies would be great, or maybe an exploration of their lives in between the prequels and the original trilogy?
- Maybe Threepio and Artoo go on their own mission for the Rebellion! How do they deal with various obstacles? How well or badly do they do undercover? What are their interactions like with other droids, both friend and foe?
- There's just a lot of potential for comedy and drama and dramatic irony with Artoo + Threepio + Vader. How could the droids come into Vader's possession - capture, being bought, maybe they never left Anakin/Vader's service in the first place? How do they handle life behind Imperial lines, and what sort of tasks does Vader ask of them? How does Vader relate to them, as Vader and as the memory of Anakin?
- Any of the other prompts, but in the style of an after-the-fact mission report or other Rebel or Imperial internal communication.
Requested tags: Krobus, Gunther, Marlon, Witch
About the canon:
I really enjoy the setting - it's so pretty and so charming, with a strong undercurrent of magic. For this exchange I'm especially interested in the strange and supernatural parts of the valley - there's a lot of lore but also a lot left unexplained and open to imagination.
Prompts
- (Krobus) I love to see Krobus learning about the human world from the other characters and him teaching them about the world of the magical beings in return. What would happen if he struck up a friendship with a villager, especially someone who isn't the Farmer? Can he find a way to fit in the rhythm of life in the town?
- (Krobus) What, exactly, did Krobus do during the Elemental Wars that makes the dwarves want to send an assassin after him in particular? Any worldbuilding for both the Shadow People and the Dwarves (as well as other magical species) would be great too.
- (Gunther) So is Gunther the one who writes the descriptions for all of the artifacts and minerals that go into the museum? I'd love to see more of his scholarly archaeological work, including in-universe documents. And since he can leave the museum sometimes (he visits the Farmer to give them the Rusty Key), what if he goes on trips to find museum items? Anything from realistic archaeological practice to Gunther being a secret Indiana Jones figure would be really fun.
- (Gunther) Anything that goes into the Gunther-is-a-ghost theory. What was he like as a living villager? How did he die and end up haunting the museum? Did he know any of the other villagers when he was alive, or were they after his time?
- (Marlon) What's his history in the Adventurer's Guild? Are he and Gil the only members or is it an organization that goes throughout Ferngill (or even Gotoro)? What drew him to join or create the organization? What were his favorite or most harrowing adventures? How did he lose his eye and injure his leg, for example?
- (Marlon) Can Marlon use magic at all? If he doesn't, is it because he can't or because he refuses to (and if it's the latter, what actions led him to that decision)? If he can, how did he learn those skills, and what would happen if he had to put them to use to stop a large threat to the village and/or the valley?
- (Witch) How did she and the Wizard fall for each other? We only ever get the Wizard's side of how their marriage broke down - how does she see it? (I'm good with either or both as unreliable narrators). Did she create the shrines in her hut or did she build the hut around preexisting shrines? What goals does she have besides cursing random items in the town?
- (Witch) The Witch takes on an apprentice. Who does she pick? What are her goals in teaching them magic? How does the apprentice use their new powers?
- Any combination of my requested characters on an adventure of your choice - Gunther has to recruit Krobus' help to get a magical artifact for the museum! the Witch gives Marlon magical training! Marlon has to confront some unsavory Adventurer's Guild policies when he becomes friends with Krobus! the Witch conjures up ghostly Gunther to help with some scheme of hers! The valley is your oyster.

About the canon:
This series of paintings is available on Wikipedia: Marriage-a-la-Mode. Commentary is also available on the Wikipedia pages if you want it, but I'm open to a lot of different interpretations of these pieces of art!
I have a specific set of likes for this canon in my General Likes/DNWs section, and in general I really enjoy the mix of absurdity and tragedy that runs through these paintings. None of these people are particularly good and they bring most of their misfortunes on themselves, but given the world they live in, it's no wonder what they became. If you're interested in adding real-world historical detail, I'm happy to see that too!
Prompts
- Any character study on the Viscountess|The Bride - as a miserly merchant's daughter, how did she see her elevation to the aristocracy? Did she ever try to work on the marriage at first, or was it always hatred from the start? What did her descent into debauchery look like? How did she start her relationship with Silvertongue? What's her relationship like with her daughter?
- Plenty of aristocratic marriages in this time period worked with the husband and wife (after producing the necessary heir) having their own lives and cordially ignoring each other's indiscretions. Nobody here is ever going to be particularly emotionally healthy, but maybe in another world the Viscount and Viscountess could have called a truce before everything completely blew up and worked out a more tolerable arrangement. What does that negotiation look like?
- Alternatively, maybe the Viscountess and Silvertongue plan ahead a little better and quietly murder the Viscount before he can catch them. What's their plan? Could they get away with it? Where do their lives go after that?
- Viscountess/Viscount/Silvertongue = world's worst menage a trois. Maybe they're all pretending this is a fine arrangement and they're all worldly enough to handle this, but they're really really not. (How does Viscount/Silvertongue leg of the triangle work? Do they try to pettily sabotage each other all the time? Do they fuck? Do they do both at once??) Happy to see this explode spectacularly, with figurative and/or literal knives out, or maybe their menage limps into the sunset and they live semi-functionally ever after.
